Debbie just called and a private rescue (don't know the name) is taking 7 of the horses. She wasn't able to talk for long--running around and call waiting ringing in.

The horses that are going are:

Blessing & Allie--the beautiful chestnut mom and our adorable girl
Deva (wasn't able to stay with Darla)
Laura
Lea
Peggy
Mama Bear (pregnant mare)

Laura
QH – registered; has papers about 15 y/o beautiful - has scars;
needs TLC; has lots of potential for the right person - dark roan - 15.3.

Mamma Bear
private rescue
Jasper sorrel grade QH gelding 3 year old sound but with a tendency to grow clubby
feet, so will continue to need good corrective farrier work is all. He is
not started but is the sweetest and silliest, most easy going little boy.
Peanut chestnut QH gelding 3 year sound, not one mean bone in his body, he
needs to have lots of toys, he loves to grab things and take off with them.
He plays hide and seek too, he is a darling personality! He is also not
started, but like all of the younger horses, he is so trusting and willing
to learn.
Vallie Arab gelding 3 year old he is only about 13 hands, sound but
needs someone who knows the Arab sensitivity and respects their incredible
intelligence. Vallie needs someone who really, really will build his
confidence. He goes on the offense if he thinks he can't do it perfectly.
He needs GOBS of encouragement and praise.
Sage red chestnut filly 3 year old beautiful, tall, sound, wonderful strong and
competitive spirit but also needs someone who will build her confidence.
She is not started but SO willing to learn and to do something with her
abilities and potential.
Badge bucking stock gelding 4 year old VERY ABUSED He
is just learning to be comfortable picking up his feet, and he has come a
long, long, long way already to trusting people again. I doubt he can ever
be rideable, but who knows with the right person he can do anything
Sarge chestnut QH gelding 25+ year old Sarge is Badge's comfort in this world. I
would love to see them go to a sanctuary together, if at all humanly
possible. Sarge has ringbone, I IMPECCABLE
manners. He will need bute and corrective trimming, keeping the toes
rolling over
Rose chestnut mare mid 20's has severe high ringbone and needs the same
special care as Sarge. She was bred in that condition, too, making it that
much more painful. She is so passive and so tender a soul. She is VERY
passive.
Tempest dun QH mare 18 year old our vet said to keep her rested, and believes
her knee can heal with rest. She has not had x-rays but after this long a
rest and hardly any improvement she does need x-rays. She is VERY well
broke.
Bandit sorrel OTTB 24 year old he is also very, very passive, as tender as a
puppy, he has to have mash and be blanketed more than most. He was severely
starved and will never be 100%, but I think he is still rideable and would
love to have a purpose again
